DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
System Administrator is responsible for maintaining the ICT infrastructure and network at the City Campus and providing support to students and staff in accessing ICT services. He/she will work in close collaboration with the APIIT IT Team and report to the ICT Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computing and/or professional qualifications/ industry certifications with 3-4 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
Ability to configure, install, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft/ Linux services is required.
Hands-on experience with active directory, DHCP, DNS, VPN infrastructure, web servers such as Apache, IIS and specific knowledge on windows/Linux server administration is a must.
Expert knowledge in MySQL, MSSql and oracle administration with server-side scripting on VB scripting, PowerShell and PHP scripting is compulsory.
