Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or a related field. 2-4 years of sales experience (technology sales experience will be an advantage)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Drive UMCG products to customers in such a way to ensure that all required team conversion rates for proposals and contracts are met and to ensure that all proposals are followed up in a manner that ensures that our services exceed customers' expectations
Create new sales and marketing strategies that target B2B customers and position our products as the best solution for prospective clients
Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports, accurately and on time
Report back to the management of trends in demand for products and movements in the market including reporting on problems and challenges faced in selling our products
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospects
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
Capable of modelling the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
Manage all technical aspects of RFI / RFG / RFT / RFP responses
Set and achieve sales goals and quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis
Initiate ideas for market events, so as to expand sales for desired territories and products
Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate teams/departments/management
Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or a related field
2-4 years of sales experience (technology sales experience will be an advantage)
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships (and projects)
Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and desire to deliver results
Good command of spoken and written English
Proficient in use of productivity tools, e.g. MS Office, G-Suite etc.
Working knowledge of CRM software is a plus
Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Works well under pressure and challenges status quo
Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive work and business environment
Ability to work independently and to coordinate several tasks simultaneously
Ability to meaningfully interact with all levels of management, suppliers and customers
Ability to creatively explain and present complex technical concepts in an easy to understand manner
