A Degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Investments, Risk Management or Business Management from a UGC approved university or equivalent professional qualification
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Leading all Actuarial functions inclusive of statutory valuations, regulatory compliance & reporting, experience analysis, pricing, management & value reporting
Ensure continuous improvement of up-to-date Actuarial systems for accurate and timely statutory valuations, financial projections and business planning
Lead new initiatives on product development, data analytics, management information coordinating with other core functions of the organization
Support the formulation of business plans for the Company in line with the strategic direction of the Company
Lead the IFRS 17 Project for smooth implementation while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Develop a strong actuarial team through training and the transfer of knowledge and skills to build and expand the resources within the Company
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Actuary with a Fellow Membership from a recognized Actuarial Institute
A Degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Investments, Risk Management or Business Management from a UGC approved university or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institute
15years' of experience in the field of Actuarial (preferably in insurance) with a minimum of 10 years' in a senior managerial position
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage a team.
Prioritize work to meet deliverables under challenging & dynamic market conditions
Knowledge on prophet and spreadsheet modelling
Strong understanding of both Life and Non-Life Insurance financial dynamics would be an added advantage
Excellent stakeholder engagement capability and ability to communicate technical concepts in a simple way to a non-technical audience
