Bachelor's Degree specializing in Public Administration, Organizational Management, Human Resource Management or in an allied field or an advanced professional qualification
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Perform standard administrative and maintenance functions of the organization including databases, and inventories; staff leave and other personnel management, etc.
Responsible for all staff and resource administration procedures, including adherence to the approved circulars,
Maintaining records and files and facilitate staff meetings and events..
Facilitate and support administration and human resource management activities of the MEND program.
Coordinate with a staff of all departments to organize project activities such as staff training and development, stakeholder training workshops, mentoring under the MEND program.
Provide direct support to the Program Director by initiating and/or preparing reports, correspondence, taking minutes/notes and following up on meetings and events.
Implements and manages office systems and procedures, e.g. templates, databases, spreadsheets, inventory updates, staff attendance, etc.
Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Directorate.
Organizational Development: Assist the BoD and SDJF management in developing appropriate policies, where deemed necessary, whilst assisting the BoD to improve existing policies in compliance with commonly accepted standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's Degree specializing in Public Administration, Organizational Management, Human Resource Management or in an allied field or an advanced professional qualification in a related field.
Experience
At least six years of experience in a similar capacity. Candidate should be able to work independently - with minimum supervision and guidance from the BoD.
Skills
Excellent organizational skills; written and oral English communication skills and knowledge of other languages (Sinhala/Tamil) is an asset. He/she should have an advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher).
