QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Coastal Engineering with a professional engineering accreditation
Minimum of 8 years' experience in the design of coastal infrastructure and relevant industry experience is required. Ideally, this should include 3 years in a senior project management and Client facing role.
ability to liaise professionally with Clients and Authorities.
You will be expected to:
Lead marine and coastal structures projects, such as ports, terminals, wharves, piers, bulkheads, berthing, mooring systems and foundations.
Preparation of engineering designs, specifications and reports on maritime structures and facilities.
Continue to develop specialist maritime engineering skills and add value to the wider team through the mentoring and guidance of junior engineers and drafters.
Manage and maintain project records and ensure compliance with QA procedures.
Ensure designs and site works are safe and compliance with all relevant safety standards.
