DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring Performance Management programs, policies, processes and tools.

Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program counselling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Monitor completion of development plans,, KPIs and staff feedback reviews and suggest possible solutions for poor performers through coaching and development initiatives.
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Liaise with the Learning and Development team to address development need/skill gaps identified for any specific roles, through performance management process
Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Fully qualified in PQHRM or equivalent degree in HRM from recognized university/institute.
At least 4 years of work experience in the field of Human Resources and at least 2 years' in a similar capacity in the mercantile sector.
MS Office proficiency at a higher level and a good understanding of English, Sinhala& Tamil (all 3 preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently, under pressure with minimum supervision and be a team player.
