DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Cash forecasting, assisting and coordinating the preparation of budgets and monitoring of actual performance against budgets.
Management of liquidity requirements whilst working closely with executive management.
Liaising with banks, state institutions, suppliers and other relevant parties on financial matters
Preparation of periodic Financial Statements, interpreting results and advising top management as appropriate.
Stay informed of legislative issues, new CBSL regulations/trends and accounts methodology.
Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with external stakeholders such as CBSL, Inland Revenue Department, banks and funding agencies, audit firms, investment banks, capital market regulators etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Be a fully qualified professional, holding a Fellow or Associate status from ICA/CIMA/ACCA.
A Master's Degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration is preferred.
Should have a minimum of 10 years of post qualified experience in Accounting/Auditing in a recognized financial institution.
