DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Execute outlet operations including food and beverage promotions, customer service and inventories
Lead the restaurant and the bar staff in training the including the following: restaurant standards, room service,
wine service and customer service
Monitor the performance of outlet service staff. Supervision duties include; delegating responsibilities, scheduling,
coaching and correcting, evaluating, interviewing, training and mentoring of staff
Oversee banquet events and ensure that all service standards are met up to the guests' expectation
Act as the key point of contact with the event host during the function
Maintain Restaurant inventory, cleanliness, food rotation and menu consistency
Conduct inventory for par levels of food, beverage and paper supplies. Assist in establishing methods for inventory control and adhere to purchasing procedures
To ensure that all outlet fixtures and fittings are in fully working order and report any problems immediately Continue to enhance the guest service experience by creative initiatives To liaise with the Chefs daily to ensure all menu items are available
Assist in the execution of administrative function such as reporting, forecasting, cost controls, quality assurance and departmental meetings
To provide exceptional standards of services to guests at all times.
To monitor staff daily, ensuring that staff deliver the highest standards of customer service at all times To be responsible for cash handling
To recognize and nominate for reward staff members when exceptional customer service or work performance is displayed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Over 1 year of food & beverage leadership experience
Academic qualifications suitable to the position will be an added advantage
